This beautiful family was the winner of my Studio Grand Opening. They had a wonderful little baby boy. A 7.3 lbs little bundle. He did amazing during our session.
Just incredibly adorable. He is so loved and is very lucky to have an amazing big brother to watch over him.
His older brother at only 2 had such pride and gentleness towards his little brother. There is no doubt he will be very loved.
The lovely details of a newborn. Their preciousness and innocence. I love capturing them at different angles. Our memories fade very quickly as let’s face it, most parents don’t sleep through the night for years. And having children only 2 years apart means very little sleep. What we think we will remember forever will fade after only a month or two. Those little details we love will be replaced by something else we love about them. Having photo’s like these are so important.
I am always happy to incorporate special props and memorabilia that parents bring to my sessions. This time they brought a cute little had an a teddy bear. Naturally this little man rocked the outfit like a true pro!
Every parent who goes through a newborn session can almost guarantee they will receive a sleepy close-up of their baby. I love how peaceful they are. How innocent and pure they look.
Then there are my signature images. The wrapped baby on white background with negative space around him. These images are more artistic and will stand the test of time. The focus is the baby and nothing else.
I don’t do a lot of black and white photos. But the baby in his/hers daddy/mommy hands is a must. It shows how tiny they are compared to your hands. And with the black background it really complements the image to be black and white.
