I have always felt that Evergreeners are tough and hardy, and the this little family proved that on a very cold snowy day in November. They braved the cold for their family photography session at a beautiful location in Evergreen.
What a gorgeous family both inside and out. They were very smart parents and only took the baby out when needed and regularly went back inside the car to warm her up. The little one never complained over the cold and seemed to enjoy being outside despite the cold temperature and the weird lady with a camera in her face the whole time.
I learned a valuable lesson during this family session. Getting 3 dogs and a baby to all look my way is not the easiest or even attainable. By the time we by miracle had everyone looking my way, the super sonic hearing of the dogs made them turn their heads just as the camera went click!
Maybe one day I will master the art of having dogs and babies look at me all at the same time, but that day I unfortunately didn’t. Instead we focused on getting pictures of the humans. Daddy’s are especially talented when it comes to swinging and swooshing as you can see in the picture below.
I love capturing those special moments. Unfortunately we had to cut the session short as it was getting too cold. It was very unfortunate as one of the family’s request was a sunset picture with the mountains in the background. But mountain weather can be a fickle lady so we decided to meet up at a later time when the weather would be better. Overall I had so much fun and gained a huge respect for this fun loving family for still trying and enjoying themselves outside despite the freezing temperatures.
