As a family photographer in and around Denver CO I love our choices of locations. With this wonderful family we ended up having to choose two locations due to weather. Both as beautiful as the other.
Every year I donate a session to a well deserving family with special needs children. This is the story of one of those families.
A mom with two beautiful boys and their Au-Pair from Germany. You could see what a wonderful relationship they all had with each other. I believe I tried to dust off my very rusty knowledge of German this session with little luck. I think the only thing I remember are Monty Python phrases and what the population of Germany was back in the 90’s…
Can you believe the eyelashes on him! I have major lash jealousy. He was such a joy to work with. Very adventurous and would every once in a while stop just long enough to show me the treasures he had found in the woods.
I told him the story of how ‘back in my day’ we used to determine if a boy or a girl had a crush on us. We would take each pedal and rip it off chanting ‘loves me’ or ‘loves me not’. Ahh the simple life of youth. He wasn’t very sure about my methods and made sure I did not get to his flower or any other treasures he found during our session.
Those big beautiful brown eyes were captivating. He was so much fun to work with. Shrieks of laughter from his favorite songs, or just a snuggle from his favorite Au-Pair was enough to get a smile from this handsome boy!
We found this amazing tree at our location and just had to take a group picture under neath it. I love how this image shows everyone’s personality.
